The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (DSGVO/GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.
Hosting and e-mail transmission
The hosting services by Uberspace (Jonas Pasche, Kaiserstr. 15, 55116 Mainz) used by us serve to provide the following services: Infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, e-mail dispatch, security services as well as technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating this online service.
In doing so, we or our hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors to this online service on the basis of our legitimate interests in the efficient and secure provision of this online service pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO/GDPR in conjunction with Art. 28 DSGVO/GDPR. Art. 28 DSGVO/GDPR.
We, or our hosting provider, collect data on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. of the DSGVO/GDPR in conjunction with Art. 28 DSGVO/GDPR. DSGVO/GDPR collects data on each access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). Access data includes the name of the website accessed, the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
Log file information is stored for security reasons (e.g. to clarify abuse or fraud actions) for a maximum period of 7 days and then deleted. Data, the further storage of which is necessary for evidence purposes, are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.
Karajan Cinema Classics has concluded an order processing contract with the provider. The provider’s data protection declaration can be found here: https://uberspace.de/privacy
Marketing measures and data collection
On the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO/GDPR and an order processing contract with the respective companies pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 DSGVO/GDPR, pseudonymised data will be collected to the extent technically feasible by us, which will be used to evaluate and optimise our services.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on activities within this website and to provide us with other services associated with the use of this website and the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles of the users can be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with activated IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data.
Further information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, setting and objection options can be found on the websites of Google: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ (“Use of data by Google for your use of websites or apps of our partners”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“Use of data for advertising purposes”), http://www.google.de/settings/ads (“Manage information that Google uses to show you advertising”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ (“Determine which advertising Google shows you”).
WP Google Maps
The service provider can use the recipient’s data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without allocation to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimisation of the transmission and display of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.
Mailchimp also implements a measurement of success, which is possible via a tracking pixel, which is called up from our server when the newsletter is opened or, if we use a dispatch service provider, from its server. In the course of this retrieval, information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are collected.
This information is used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. It is, however, neither our endeavour nor, if used, that of the mail-order service provider to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users.
A separate cancellation of the performance measurement is unfortunately not possible, in which case the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled.
You are basically entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority: https://www.dsb.gv.at/
